The IPv4 addresses extractor extracts IP addresses from a text, which are structured according to IPv4 (Internet Protocol Version 4), and written in decimal notation. In decimal notation, the 32-bit address is written in four blocks, and separated by a period, e.g. 127.0.0.1. Each block has a value range from 0 to 255. IP is one of the core protocols of standards-based internetworking methods.
